Around the world in 300 days

The tickets finally arrived yesterday, all correct and in order! Wow! Not long to go now.....

We've made our packing list and got the Chinese visas sorted so there's not much else to sort out now except for getting our money changed.

It's beginning to feel real...

We had our 1st of 3 Rabies jabs last week, got our 2nd jab happening tomorrow. David finished work last week so is a happy bunny and has so far spent his days at home dozing and not doing any housework - not a very good house-husband!

Nic's still got two weeks of work left but it's going quickly!

Hey-ho, it's nearly time to go!!

David has 96 hours of work left until he becomes a house husband for a week - well 2 days. Nic has 4 weeks of work to go. We've both got our Australian visas sorted - still got China ones to sort out.
We've both had our Yellow Fever jabs (David's just recovering from the side effects - what a poof!) We're sorting out our rabies injections and malaria tablets this coming week - which means parting with more money!!!

We've just bought some dapper rucksacks - but we're matching(!)We won't know anyone out there so it doesn't matter - hmmmmm...

We've both handed our notice in at work. Nic's already had her jabs except yellow fever - David gets his in two weeks.

Looking forward to having no work for a few weeks before we go - though Nic's got a house to pack and David's got his shoebox of goodies to sort out!

Found out STA were going to charge us double the amount for visa so we're sorting those ourselves now.

Not that we want to wish the British summer away, but hurry up autumn!!!!
